1. How do I enroll in a degree program? |

You need to apply for admission to Trinity Southwest University as follows:
- Free Pre-Application review - There is no fee for this review of your pre-application. Simply fill out the form on-line. You will receive a call from an Admissions Specialist who will suggest the amount of Portfolio Credit that you might be able to apply to your degree program and the remaining credits you will need to complete your degree. These suggestions are contingent upon formal application and verification of transcripts and portfolio activity.

2. What is Portfolio Credit? |

At the time of the admissions process, you may qualify for Portfolio Credit which will be applied to your degree program. Portfolio Credit recognizes certain experience that carries scholastic and academic weight, and may consist of:
- Professional experience
- Ministry experience
- Overall life experience

| 3. Why is it important to register for courses at Trinity Southwest University when I am taking my courses at BibleInteract Institute? |
To remain an active student at TSU you must be registered for courses. The minimum registration is 9 semester credit hours (SCH). When you complete a course at BibleInteract Insitute, you simply transcribe it to your current registration at TSU. However, if you become inactive for six (6) months, you may lose your TSU admissions status. |
| 4. How much work must I do to complete a course? |
Each course requires completion of four or five activities:
- Reading - You will receive a suggested reading list for the course. Since each student has a unique background, you will read only that which enhances your understanding of the material and assists you in answering the AGL questions explained below. You are not required to submit anything upon completion of this activity.
- Course lecture - Lectures are approximately 12 hours and are divided into sessions of approximately 45 minutes each. Most lectures are in audio formate but some are in DVD format.
- Workbook study aid: A workbook accompanies each course lecturein which the lecture is presented in outline form to help you take notes. At the end of each session, the workbook poses questions for comprehension and then suggests topics for discussion. You are not required to submit anything upon completion of this activity.
- Practical Application f or graduate and doctoral students: BibleInteract believes that knowledge acquired from each course should be applied. There are numerous activities from which to choose including preaching, teaching, or leading a small group discussion.
- Assessment of Guided Learning (AGL) - This is an open-book exam that requires you to use the material you have learned. You will anwer 12 AGL questions by writing short essay answers. Your course grade will be based on these 12 essays.

| 5. What will it cost? |
BibleInteract fees are for tuition and materials.
- Audio lecture CD and workbook: $135 ($114.75 with the 15% member discount)
- DVD lecture and workbook: $150 ($127.50 with the 15% member discount)
- Homeschool audio lecture CD and workbook: $58 ($49.30 with the 15% member discount)
- Homeschool DVD lecture and workbook: $68 ($57.80 with the 15% member discount)
- BibleInteract tuition for a course ( 3 semester credit hours: $95)
In addition to the cost of tuition and materials, Trinity Southwest University charges miscellaneous fees. These include:
- Application Fee: $100
- Registration Fee (for each registration): $75
- Transcribe credit from BII to TSU: $30/SCH
- Drop/Add Fee: $20/course
- Portfolio and Equivalency Fee: $20-$30/SCH
- Extension Fee: $20-30/SCH
- Grade Replacement Fee: $100
- Graduation Fee: $150

| 6. How long will it take? |
That depends on you because you will work at your own speed. However, the program has been designed so you can accomodate your work schedule to the course. For example:
- Listen to the course lecture in your car while commuting
- Listen to the course lecture while you exercise
- Introduce a discussion question from your workbook in a Sunday School class or Bible Study group
- Join a Discussion Forum that applies to the course topic

Yes, as a member of BibleInteract Institute you will:
