Uncovering Mysteries in Scripture

Summary: In the first session of this self-study course, Dr. Anne Davis convinces us, from the words of Yeshua, that that there are indeed mysteries in Scripture, which are embedded in the depth of the Holy Writings waiting to be uncovered. Then she shows us (again from Scripture) who can uncover these mysteries and how.

In the remaining sessions, Dr. Davis walks you through the steps that she used to uncover three mysteries. Yeshua said, "I have not come to bring peace but a sword," which is quite a mystery because God is peace of shalom. The second mystery is "All Israel will be saved," words spoken by Paul in his letter to the Romans. The third mystery is something the Christian community has tended to take for granted. But there is a mystery there waiting to be uncover. Dr. Davis starts with the words, "Christ in you, the hope of glory," which we read in Colossians.

This is not a particularly difficult course, but it will challenge you in many ways. The exercises are designed to be notjust fun but also rewarding. These exercises will allow you to practice what you have learned and to clarify anything in the teaching that may have been somewhat confusing.
